In order to protect Moon Summit’s visitors and the wildlife in the park, we ask that everyone review basic safety guidelines and follow all park regulations.
Motorized vehicles of any kind are prohibited within park grounds. In case of emergency, the ranger station will dispatch an all-terrain vehicle to arrive at the scene quickly and safely.
Do not approach wildlife under any circumstances. It is against park regulations to feed, endanger, and/or otherwise purposefully interfere with wildlife.
Carrying food or littering will increase the likelihood of a dangerous wildlife encounter. Make sure to follow park regulations in regards to food storage and waste disposal.
A safe campsite is a happy campsite. Dangerous activities that are strictly prohibited on campgrounds include (but are not limited to) drinking alcohol and smoking of any kind.
Do not leave any fires unattended. Make sure they are completely extinguished before leaving.
In case of an emergency, call 911 or contact the ranger station immediately.
