When entering the park, you must first stop by the ranger station to go over safety protocols and campsite rules with the rangers on duty.

In emergency circumstances, call 911 and/or contact the ranger station immediately.

Cell phone coverage is only available within a three mile radius of the station. If you do not have coverage, contact the ranger station through radio or walkie-talkie.

Keep in mind that because are no through roads in the park, our ranger responses times are slower than the national average. The ranger station dispatches all-terrain motor vehicles in the event of an emergency, but depending on your location, it may take several hours for rangers to arrive.
