Weather in Moon Summit follows its own rhythm.
Summer lasts roughly from May through September, and will see temperatures ranging from the mid 70s to the low 30s. Since summer temperatures can dip below freezing, that means it isn’t uncommon to see it snowing in July—although the snow melts quickly once it hits the ground.
Spring and Autumn are extremely short, lasting around two weeks each, with similar temperatures between 20 and 50 degrees. The rainiest months tend to be June, July, and August.
Snowfall generally isn’t heavy enough for consistent ground coverage until late September or early October. Winter is bitterly cold, with highs in the 20s and lows below -40 degrees Fahrenheit.
